Position SummaryClinical Supervisor - Transfer Center
Seeking an experienced healthcare leader to oversee a 24/7 Transfer Center operation responsible for coordinating patient care across the Valley. This role manages a team of approximately 32 FTEs, including nurses, and support specialists who handle inbound calls, patient triage and patient placement coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced call center environment Manage staffing, scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, and employee development Monitor operational metrics, create new performance measures, and oversee call quality Analyze reports and present operational data to senior leadership Drive process improvement initiatives and implement new workflows across the department Ensure appropriate patient placement by assessing capacity and coordinating care needs
Qualifications:
Leadership experience managing healthcare teams, min of one year as a supervisor, lead or charge nurse Background in a critical care, acute care, transfer center, bed management, or similar high-acuity environment Experience implementing and rolling out operational processes and improvements Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Excel, Word, reporting tools, and data interpretation Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff, leadership, and external stakeholders

Onsite position, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Will consider two part-time leaders for the right combination of experience and qualifications Ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment The Nursing Services Supervisor coordinates shift operational flow in conjunction with organizational and departmental strategic goals, objectives, and standards and is the hospital’s clinical representative/resource for patients, families, and the healthcare team, at both the unit and organization levels. This position provides clinical leadership of patient care services and directs supervision of nursing and support staff to ensure consistent provision of developmentally appropriate quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, professional standards and requirements. Provides clinical leadership with accountability in promoting quality patient care and an engaging work environment, during assigned shift. |
