Job Functions: Travel Southwest Florida to call on golf course superintendents, sports turf managers and lawn care customers. Build relationships with existing and new customers with the goal of generating sales. Continually strive to acquire product knowledge, monitor industry trends, provide agronomic expertise and understand competitor offerings including pricing. Participate in trade shows, local association events and bring groups of customers together to share ideas while educating them on important products. Three years of sales experience is preferred; however, we will train an individual that displays the proper motivation and necessary interpersonal skills. Industry experience is required. This position requires the ability to work independently, be a self-starter and multi-task. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills are needed in order to follow up with and meet the needs of customers Educational Requirements This is a fully remote position that requires the rep to visit customer’s place of business. The territory representative must reside in SW Florida in order to complete travel around the territory. Occasional overnight travel may be required. A comprehensive knowledge of Agronomic products, cultural practices and maintenance procedures are a must. It is important to be able to guide customers to optimal solutions. An excellent plant nutrition knowledge base is necessary. Foliar Pak is the most important product line for Turf Solutions. Understanding how to position key Foliar Pak products and being able to differentiate them from competitor products will be a requirement. Advanced knowledge of the Foliar Pak product line is not required, but will be beneficial for more immediate success.
