 Student Engagement Specialist About the Opportunity JOB SUMMARY The Specialist position focuses on the developmental support of a portfolio of university-recognized student organizations. This includes frequently assessing the needs of student leaders and developing plans for the enhancement and expansion of student group resources and training in addition to administrative program management responsibilities. The Specialist is responsible for working closely with student leaders, campus partners, and student-driven committees to provide signature programming for the University. The Specialist reports to the Associate Director of Student Engagement. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in College Student Development or related field preferred with comparable consideration for years of service. Frequent nights and weekends are a must to ensure the success of divisional initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 1) University Recognized Signature Events
