| The Charlotte County Airport Authority (CCAA), operator of Punta Gorda Airport (PGD), is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform advanced accounting work supporting general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, budget monitoring, audit preparation, and financial compliance. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting experience. Knowledge of GAAP, GASB, and governmental accounting practices is required. Governmental, public sector, enterprise fund, and NetSuite experience are preferred.
