GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Kirkwood Community College's Industrial Technologies Department is seeking a part-time instructor for AUT-888 Tech Lab I (4 credit hours). A successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in automotive service and repair, including the use of common diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools, vehicle maintenance procedures, and safe shop practices. Candidates should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to students in a hands-on learning environment. Fall 2026 AUT-888 Section B: T/TH 8:00-11:00 am AND 1:00-4:00 pm, 8/24/26-10/16/26 Adjunct faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions scheduled intermittently based on institutional need. Adjuncts are not guaranteed work in any semester and are notified of course assignments prior to each term as courses become available. UNIVERSAL CORE COMPETENCIES:
