| SUMMARY Staff position to lead in the organization and implementation of the athletic health care delivery program for all Calvin University NCAA Division III varsity and junior varsity athletic teams and ACHA men’s ice hockey teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
COMMUNICATION SKILLS The position requires the ability to draft and edit correspondence; train or instruct employees in the same department; or tasks requiring significant communication skills. Handles confidential information following HIPPA guidelines. COMPLEXITY The position requires the ability to carry out detailed written/oral/diagram form instructions. Deals with standardized situations involving several variables. ACCOUNTABILITY The position has the authority, if approved, to take action or make recommendations that will affect procedures, processes, and practices involving customers or employees within the same department. DECISION MAKING/JUDGEMENT This position regularly requires independent judgment in setting priorities and organizing work to accomplish results. Some of the responsibilities of this position are performed in accordance with existing procedures and instructions. Some of the responsibilities of this position will require making clinical decisions about the safety and wellbeing of student-athletes and their participation in Calvin University Athletics programs. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS The position requires occasional participation with peers or customers, and deals with items of a routine nature with frequent supervision. Participants address common issues and present information beneficial and routine to resolving problems.
