Annual Giving Officer

The Annual Giving Officer is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and growth of the Admiral Farragut Academy’s annual giving program. This role leads all aspects of annual philanthropy, including donor engagement, volunteer management, communications, and data-driven fundraising strategies. The position works collaboratively across departments to build a strong culture of philanthropy, increase participation, and maximize unrestricted giving from parents, alumni, faculty/staff, and friends of the AFA.

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, advancement, or related field (independent school experience preferred)
• Demonstrated success in annual fund or donor engagement programs
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Experience managing volunteers and cross-functional teams
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to the School’s mission
