Job Description The Medieval Institute is seeking an organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support the daily operations of a vibrant academic unit. This position plays a central role in graduate program administration, budget support, course scheduling, office management, and communications while serving as a key resource for faculty, students, alumni, and university partners. Working closely with the Director and Associate Director, the Administrative Coordinator helps ensure efficient Institute operations, exceptional student support, and successful academic programming. About the Institute The Medieval Institute at the University of Notre Dame is the nation's largest and most prestigious center for the study of the Middle Ages. Bringing together more than fifty faculty fellows from thirteen academic departments, the Institute supports internationally recognized research, hosts leading scholars through conferences and lectures, and offers exceptional graduate and undergraduate programs. With an unparalleled library and growing manuscript collection, the Institute explores the medieval roots of modern society through scholarship, teaching, and community engagement. The University of Notre Dame was founded in November 1842 by Rev. Edward F. Sorin, C.S.C., a priest of the Congregation of Holy Cross, a French missionary order.
