 Adjunct Faculty (Medical Assisting Techniques / Medical Assisting, Canton) Location: Canton, MA Category: Adjunct Faculty - Pool Job Type: Part-time Posted On: Tue Jun 16 2026 Job Description: Accepting Applications for Academic Year 2026-2027 Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to Medical Assistant students on topics including, but not limited, obtaining vital signs, medical histories from patients, preparing and assisting with various procedures, and administering treatment under the supervision of the physician or supervisor. Emphasize the importance of professionalism and effective communication, lab safety, specimen collection as they apply in a medical office. Responsibilities and Duties:
THIS POOL IS VALID THROUGH JUNE 30, 2027. APPLICANTS WISHING TO REMAIN IN THE POOL MUST REAPPLY AND UPDATE THEIR INFORMATION THEREAFTER. Adjunct Faculty are part-time instructors hired on an as needed basis. Positions may consist of day, night, or weekend positions and may be in Brockton, Canton, Middleborough, or any other instructional site. Additional Information: Position Status: MCCC/MTA position Supervisor: Dean of Health Sciences Semester: Academic Year Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Salary: $1,512 per credit (step 1) based on enrollment. Consistent with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement. *If hired for the position mid-semester, the salary will be pro-rated based on the number of weeks left in the semester. Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.
