| | Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | - Program & Fellowship Management: Proven experience coordinating, planning, and executing not just single events, but long-term, multi-tiered training schedules and fellowship cohorts about healthy conflict, dialogue across difference, and free expression.
- Multichannel Communication & Media Literacy: Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in developing communication strategies across social media platforms, managing websites, and overseeing digital audio assets, including podcast distribution.
- VIP Logistics & Diplomacy: Ability to serve as an authentic, diplomatic liaison to a diverse group of stakeholders, including students, campus leadership, national media, high-level donors, and visiting institutional executives or national thought leaders.
- Financial Stewardship & Grant Compliance: Ability to manage multiple fund types (state, foundation, and external capacity-building grants), track specific deliverables, maintain exact record-keeping systems, and process institutional purchasing requests safely within an allocated budget.
- Independence & Judgment: Ability to exercise excellent judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, multi-task in a fluid environment, and display deep tact and diplomacy during sensitive civic programming.
- Technical Proficiency: Facility with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with campus database systems.
