Job Description Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Operations, the Enrollment Systems Specialist will play a central role in the administration and ongoing development of the Enrollment Management division&#39;s technology infrastructure, with a primary focus on PowerFAIDS and its integrations with institutional systems.  This position serves as the primary liaison between the Financial Aid Office and ITS, and will be a key contributor to the College&#39;s implementation of the Workday Student platform.  While the near-term focus of the role is on PowerFAIDS and the Workday Student implementation, the position is expected to grow into a broader enrollment systems role, including Slate CRM.  Following the Workday Student launch, the incumbent will take on increasing responsibility for Slate and other enrollment technology systems.  Major Areas of Responsibility PowerFAIDS Administration and Optimization Lead the continued build-out and configuration of PowerFAIDS, including selection sets, algorithms, quality control (QC) rules, and packaging formulas Troubleshoot PowerFAIDS issues, test system upgrades, and provide technical support to end users Run and review queries to identify and resolve anomalies in financial aid data Brainstorm ways to leverage PowerFAIDS to further improve financial aid processes for students and staff alike Oversee batch importing/exporting of federal data (COD) and institutional application data (College Board) Manage document imaging to ensure proper flow and routing of financial aid documents Stay up to date with the latest news, versions, and release notes for PowerFAIDS Workday Student Implementation and Integration Serve as a primary Financial Aid Office contributor to the College&#39;s Workday Student implementation Lead the design, testing, and documentation of financial aid data integrations between PowerFAIDS and Workday Student Collaborate with ITS, Workday project teams, and functional stakeholders to ensure financial aid business processes are accurately reflected in system configuration Maintain and support ongoing data integration between PowerFAIDS and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions during the transition period Cross-Departmental Systems &#38; Integration Serve as the primary technology liaison between the Financial Aid Office and other college departments, including ITS, the Registrar, and the Bursar Maintain back-end integrations between PowerFAIDS and Slate.  This work is expected to grow in scope following the Workday Student launch to include more Slate development work. Work with technical relationship managers and application developers to propose and implement new or improved business process designs Following the Workday Student launch, take on expanded and increasingly prominent responsibilities across enrollment systems, including Workday and Slate, with a particular focus on Slate Data Management and Reporting Run fund disbursement processes, monitor student accounts, and maintain records Audit and reconcile financial aid accounts for accuracy Create custom reports and data extracts to satisfy federal, state, and institutional requirements Manage the use of technology across the Financial Aid Office, including PeopleSoft, Workday, IDOC, Google Workspace, and more Documentation and Training Create and maintain detailed process documentation and training materials for both technical staff and end users Oversee testing, documentation, and training for new system implementations, updates, and process changes Minimum Qualifications Bachelor&#39;s degree from an accredited college or university required Minimum three years of professional IT systems experience or technical financial aid administration Expertise in PowerFAIDS required, including packaging, selection sets, and QC rules Experience with Workday and/or PeopleSoft Campus Solutions preferred Strong knowledge of SQL, scripting, and/or API development Experience with data integration between enterprise systems Solid understanding of financial aid regulations (e.g.: Pell Grants, federal loans) Experience with a relational CRM database preferred Expertise in query development and data analysis Core Competencies Dependability Flexibility Strong interpersonal skills Service-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication Independent problem solving Digital literacy Understanding of risk management Innovation and creativity Strong sense of teamwork Project management Understands, values, and respects diversity as an individual, in a team, and within groups while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment The salary range for this position is $66,000-$71,000 commensurate with experience. The Assistant Director - Facilities and Operations position is an integral part of the Athletic Staff, overseeing facility management and daily operations of selected facilities, including but not limited to the ice rink.
