The Music and Performance Specialist&#xa0;is&#xa0;responsible for&#xa0;creating and directing&#xa0;performances&#xa0;throughout each year&#xa0;that highlight student learning&#xa0;in music and performance skills&#xa0;and&#xa0;allow students&#xa0;in all grades&#xa0;to shine.&#xa0;This role&#xa0;will collaborate with grade level teachers,&#xa0;assistant&#xa0;heads, and&#xa0;other subject area specialists&#xa0;to&#xa0;build,&#xa0;plan,&#xa0;and teach the curriculum;&#xa0;assess, evaluate,&#xa0;and supervise&#xa0;students;&#xa0;manage&#xa0;the classroom and its supplies and resources;&#xa0;and&#xa0;participate&#xa0;in robust professional learning and school community events.&#xa0; &#xa0; 
 This is a&#xa0;full-time,&#xa0;exempt,&#xa0;academic year position, reporting to&#xa0;the Lower Elementary Assistant&#xa0;Head.&#xa0; &#xa0; 
 Standard work&#xa0;schedule is&#xa0;Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and&#xa0;Friday from 8:00am &#8211; 4:00pm&#xa0;and Wednesdays from 8:00am &#8211; 5:00pm&#xa0;during the academic year, with a start&#xa0;date of&#xa0;August&#xa0;19, 2026,&#xa0;and end&#xa0;date&#xa0;on&#xa0;June 15, 2027.&#xa0; &#xa0; 
 Essential Duties &#38; Responsibilities:&#xa0; &#xa0;

 Plan and teach a robust, engaging, and developmentally&#xa0;appropriate music&#xa0;and performing arts curriculum that aligns with national and state standards for students in Pre-K through Grade 5. &#xa0; 
 
 
 Implement instructional strategies that actively engage students in meaningful musical and performance experiences and promote creativity, collaboration, confidence, and self-expression. &#xa0; 
 
 
 Lead, direct, and coordinate school performances, assemblies, and other&#xa0;special events&#xa0;that&#xa0;showcase&#xa0;student learning and support school traditions. &#xa0; 
 
 
 Collaborate&#xa0;with classroom teachers,&#xa0;other&#xa0;specialist teachers,&#xa0;and&#xa0;Assistant&#xa0;Heads&#xa0;to integrate&#xa0;the school&#8217;s&#xa0;music&#xa0;and performance program&#xa0;into grade-level and school curriculum &#xa0;

 Primary Responsibilities 
 Payroll Administration 
 
 Process payroll inputs accurately and on schedule, including regular and supplemental pay. 
 Assist with timekeeping, payroll adjustments, and maintaining audit trails. 
 Communication with employees regarding discrepancies, questions, or corrections related to payroll. 
 Perform monthly reconciliations for payroll-related accounts. 
 
 Accounts Payable &#38; Accounts Receivable 
 
 Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and collections. 
 
 
 Support the implementation and expanded use of accounts payable automation and credit card management with AI-enhanced software. 
 Ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of operational transactions. 
 
 Benefits Administration 
 
 Administer benefit-related remittances and reconciliations, including:
 
 403(b) contributions and employer match. 
 Payroll-related benefits troubleshooting and communication (FSA, HSA, LSA, etc.). 
 Coordination and validation of health, dental, and vision insurance billing against enrollment. 
 
 
 
 Operational Support &#38; Systems Management 
 
 Support audit requests by gathering documentation and completing sample tests. 
 Maintain accurate records, documentation, and SOPs for all transactional processes. 
 Support the school community through uniform sales and management of the school spirit store in collaboration with the Epiphany Parent Council and Events &#38; Community Engagement Manager. 
 Assist with ad hoc reporting or operational projects as requested by the Controller. 
 
 Typical Knowledge, Skills &#38; Abilities 
 Required: 
 
 Associate or bachelor&#39;s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 
 3+ years of accounting, payroll, or financial operations experience 
 Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and general accounting reconciliations. 
 Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 
 Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. 
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. 
 
 Preferred: 
 
 Experience in a nonprofit, independent school, or education setting. 
 Familiarity with accounting and payroll systems such as Blackbaud Financial Edge, Bill.com, Ramp, Rippling, Sawyer, or similar platforms. Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and payroll/benefits compliance in Washington State and Seattle. 
 
 Compensation &#38; Benefits 
 The salary range for this role is between $68,000 &#8211; $75,000, based on years of experience, education, skill, and internal equity in line with our school&#8217;s Administrator pay scale. When determining an initial offer, we carefully consider these factors.

Working with the Director of Development and key staff, the MGO will successfully cultivate prospects leading towards leadership level gifts to the campaign, as well as cultivating and soliciting donors for other major projects.  What You&#39;ll Do 
 
 As a member of an effective fundraising team, the MGO will lead the process of identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift and planned giving prospects to ensure that fundraising goals are met. 
 The MGO will assist with the development and execution of a solicitation plan with an emphasis on personal face-to-face visits.&#xa0; 
 Working in conjunction with the Director of Development and other members of the Development team, the MGO will identify, visit and evaluate alumnae, current and former parents, friends and grandparent prospects; develop strategies to cultivate and update prospects on key initiatives; solicit prospects for annual giving, and as appropriate for capital and endowment gifts; tailor solicitation proposals; provide prospects with planned giving ideas and illustrations as appropriate.&#xa0; 
 The MGO will develop a tiered system of major gift prospects and facilitate the movement of those prospects through the various stages of giving based on the Moves Management model.  The MGO will participate in regular capital campaign committee meetings; strategize consistently with the Director of Development, Head of School, Board of Trustees, and fellow staff members as appropriate; prepare written strategies to cultivate relationships that will lead to solicitations and stewardship of major and planned gifts; and ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgement of major and planned gifts.&#xa0; 
 The MGO will file timely prospect reports in Raiser&#8217;s Edge documenting contacts, solicitations, and meetings. Additionally, the MGO will run reports to track progress of each prospect&#8217;s cultivation plan.&#xa0; 
 The MGO will attend key events to interact with donors and prospects as well as keep apprised of timely and relevant school information in order to create solicitation proposals.&#xa0;

 Compensation &#38; Benefits 
 The salary range for this role is between&#xa0;$90,000&#xa0;and&#xa0;$100,000&#xa0;based on years of experience, education, and internal equity.&#xa0; 
 Alongside salary, Epiphany School offers a comprehensive benefits package including:&#xa0;
