GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This individual will assist students with the admissions, enrollment, and financial service processes. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide all facets of customer service related to the work that is done in the One Stop Centers. This individual will interact with students, the public and members of the NSCC community as a representative of the division and the College. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide customer service to students and parents by phone, in person, via email, and virtually via Centro Hub, by answering questions and advising customers on all aspects of student services Maintaining customer flow for appointments and walk in services. May provide general information with the onboarding process. Assist prospective students with the application process and the creation of new online applications for admissions. Monitor and respond daily to correspondence received on department/divisional e-mail accounts and voicemail inboxes. Provide clerical assistance to staff, including coordinating mailings, tracking documents, copying, faxing, information packet compilation and mail distribution. Collects and processes documents such as change of program forms, registration forms, withdrawals, waiver requests, enrollment verifications, financial aid documents, transcript requests, name changes, etc. Assist students with registering for credit and noncredit classes. Scans and indexes student records. Processes admissions applications including uploading required documents, determining if the student has met all requirements for acceptance on the general application, and confirming that proficiency has been met. Conducts SAT downloads of data into the Client Relationship Management software (CRM). Cleans up discrepancy reports as needed for data integrity. Conduct prospective student tours of the campus. Maintain a basic knowledge of federal, state, and local Financial Aid and Student Accounts related policies and procedures. Process student payments, inclusive from receiving payment to reconciling cashier sessions. Provide students with accurate and appropriate information about the billing process and their student account activity. Assist students with the use of MyNorthshore student portal, and EAB Navigate to access their individual information, setting up eRefund or payment plans, making online payments, and appointment requests.
