 Barton Creek Country Club &#38; Resort is seeking a highly skilled and experienced&#xa0; Senior Golf Course Superintendent &#xa0;to lead agronomic operations for two premier courses&#8212; Fazio Foothills &#xa0;and&#xa0; Crenshaw Cliffside &#8212;totaling 36 holes of championship golf. 
 This is a key leadership role within a nationally recognized, multi-course resort operation. The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for delivering exceptional course conditions, leading and developing team members, and executing agronomic programs that align with both private club expectations and high-volume resort play. 
 Key Responsibilities 
 Agronomic Leadership 
 
 Execute comprehensive agronomic programs for 36 holes 
 Manage all aspects of turfgrass health, including fertility, irrigation, pest control, and cultural practices 
 Deliver consistent, high-quality playing conditions aligned with property standards 
 Monitor and adjust programs based on weather, play volume, and course conditions 
 
 
 Team Leadership &#38; Development 
 
 Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Superintendents and crew members 
 Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards 
 Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment 
 Support recruiting, training, and retention of high-performing team members 
 
 
 Operations &#38; Planning 
 
 Coordinate daily maintenance operations across both courses 
 Collaborate with the Director of Agronomy on long-term planning and capital projects 
 Manage budgets, labor, and resource allocation effectively 
 Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards 
 
 
 Communication 
 
 Maintain strong communication with leadership, golf operations, and membership 
 Provide regular updates on course conditions, projects, and agronomic practices 
 Represent the department in meetings with ownership and club leadership 
 Qualifications 
 
 Minimum&#xa0; 5+ years of experience &#xa0;as a Golf Course Superintendent or Senior Assistant at a high-end facility 
 Proven experience managing&#xa0; championship-level golf courses 
 Strong knowledge of warm-season turfgrass management, particularly ultradwarf bermudagrass 
 Experience in&#xa0; multi-course or high-volume operations &#xa0;preferred 
 Degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field preferred 
 Texas pesticide applicator&#8217;s license (or ability to obtain) 
 Valid driver&#8217;s license

								<description>Austin, Texas,  The Head/Fleet Golf Course Mechanic will ensure the proper maintenance and repair of golf and grounds maintenance equipment.&#xa0; 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities 
 
 
 
 
 Lead and perform all routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of gasoline- and diesel-powered golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and golf carts. 
 Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment longevity and peak performance. 
 Inspect, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across all golf course maintenance machinery. 
 Maintain detailed service and maintenance records using computerized systems for inventory tracking, compliance, and reporting. 
 Ensure all equipment is cleaned, fueled, lubricated, and fully operational for daily use by the turf maintenance team. 
 Perform reel grinding and blade sharpening as required to maintain top-quality turf mowing standards. 
 Modify and set up equipment to meet operational needs and course conditions. 
 Apply welding and light fabrication techniques for equipment repairs and customizations as needed. 
 Oversee proper recycling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in adherence to safety and environmental regulations. 
 Train staff on equipment operation, preventative care, and safety protocols to promote a culture of accountability and best practices. 
 Communicate effectively with the superintendent and crew, participating in all required trainings and department meetings. 
 
 
 
 Qualifications 
 
 
 
 
 &#xa0;Minimum 5 years of experience as a Golf Course Mechanic 
 Strong communication and organizational skills 
 Deep knowledge of: 
 
 Gasoline and diesel engines 
 Hydraulic systems 
 Reel grinding and equipment sharpening 
 
 Ability to analyze and solve equipment-related problems efficiently 
 Proven record in preventative maintenance program management 
 Familiarity with golf car maintenance and utility vehicles 
 Computer skills for inventory, recordkeeping, and order systems 
 Ability to train staff on equipment use and safety 
 Working understanding of the game of golf and its effect on equipment scheduling 
 Ability to work in diverse weather conditions while performing equipment repairs. 
 Must possess a valid driver&#39;s license and maintain a clean driving record. 
 Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull items of moderate to heavy weight without assistance. 
 
 Working Environment:
