								<description>Valhalla , New York,  The Assistant Vice President (Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment) provides strategic leadership in advancing a culture of data-informed decision-making, continuous improvement, and institutional accountability. The Assistant Vice President oversees the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness, leads college-wide Administrative and Educational Support unit (AES) assessment and strategic planning initiatives, and serves as the College&#39;s Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. This position reports to the Chief of Staff/Vice President of Strategic Operations. 
 The essential functions of the position include the following: 
 Institutional Assessment: 
 
 Develops and implements AES assessment plans and oversees AES assessment strategies at WCC. 
 Works closely with departments to align assessment activities with institutional goals. 
 Ensures appropriate WCC personnel charged with submitting plans and results adhere to appropriate timelines. 
 Directs operations and activities involved in the research, review, analysis, interpretation and reporting of a variety of data and information used in assessing institutional effectiveness and student success. 
 Communicates assessment results and insights to various stakeholders, including students, staff, faculty, and college leadership. 
 Uses assessment findings to identify areas for improvement and supports the development of action plans. 
 Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and data-informed decision making across the institution. 
 
 Institutional Research: 
 
 Supervises staff in the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness, including an Assistant Dean. 
 Supervises the process for data requests, analysis, and reports that enhance data-informed decision-making processes. 
 Pursues opportunities where strategic research can drive significant outcomes, helping to shape data and information into strategic priorities and change needs. 
 Ensures the application of advanced institutional research methodologies and systems in the creation and management of data. 
 Leads efforts to modernize institutional data systems, dashboards, and analytic tools to enhance evidence-based decision-making and transparency. 
 Organizes, manages, and participates in the annual planning and budgeting process. 
 Conducts appropriate annual evaluations and goal setting for direct reports. 
 
 Accreditation Liaison Officer: 
 
 Serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) between WCC and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). 
 Coordinates and oversees all accreditation activities, including self-studies, interim reports, and site visits. 
 Ensures that the College meets all MSCHE standards and requirements. 
 Facilitates the development and implementation of plans to address recommendations or requirements from accreditation reviews. 
 Maintains up-to-date knowledge of accreditation standards and best practices. 
 Provides training and support to faculty and staff on accreditation process and requirements. 
 Prepares and submits required documentation to the MSCHE promptly. 
 
 Strategic Planning: 
 
 Provides leadership for the institution&#39;s strategic planning initiatives, including helping to implement and report on the status and progress of the institution&#39;s Strategic Plan goals and objectives. 
 Provides guidance and support to departments, groups, and individuals across the College in support of alignment between operational plans and the institutional strategic plan. 
 Oversees the development and maintenance of data dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and presents regular progress highlighting achievements and areas needing attention. 
 Organizes annual strategic planning retreats for senior leadership and key stakeholders. 
 
 Compliance: 
 
 Ensures institutional compliance with accreditation and assessment standards, including those of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and SUNY. 
 Collaborates with campus leaders to integrate assessment results, accreditation findings, and institutional data into continuous improvement processes. 
 Oversees the preparation of required state, SUNY, and federal reports related to institutional effectiveness and student outcomes. 
 Performs other duties as assigned. 
 
 &#xa0; REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: &#xa0;&#xa0;It is required that the successful candidate possess a Master&#39;s degree in Education Administration or a closely related field and seven years of experience in the planning and development of training programs, personnel administration, or human development including three years in an administrative/supervisory position. 
 All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and evidence of equity-minded practice in all college policies, practices, and personnel. 
 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: &#xa0;It is preferred that the successful candidate have: 
 
 Demonstrated success leading large-scale institutional effectiveness, assessment, or accreditation initiatives in higher education, preferably within a community college environment. 
 Experience with regional or national accreditation processes and the ability to apply that knowledge effectively in the Middle States context. 
 Proven ability to integrate assessment, planning, and data analytics into institutional improvement strategies. 
 Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in data-informed decision-making. 
 Additional compensation with seniority steps may be attained over time maximizing at a salary of $187,974.  Enrollment Strategy and Execution. Collaborates across the college to ensure excellent, timely, and approachable student services and interactions; develops, monitors, and acts upon performance indicators of student enrollment, retention, and graduation for continuous improvement inclusive of the following units: Enrollment Planning, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Records (including International Students). 
 
 Across the entire Student Affairs division, the incumbent will be responsible for the following: 
 
 Identify technological tools and support for student experiences and assure the development of technical expertise necessary to provide effective and efficient service; 
 Develop expected outcomes for all student development programs, evaluate the outcomes, prepare reports, and provide feedback to the college community;

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: &#xa0; &#xa0;An earned doctorate in related field is strongly preferred. Successful experience with institutional reform work is also preferred. 								<description>Valhalla, New York,  The Westchester Community College Foundation, in partnership with SUNY Westchester Community College, provides scholarship, financial, and programmatic support to promote student success both in college and beyond. The Junior Administrative Assistant supports the Executive Director of the Foundation and Executive Administrator.&#xa0; Support will include calendar management, meeting logistics, and general administrative functions. 
 The Junior Administrative Assistant will manage Foundation front office reception and general information for foundation operations. This position requires strong organizational and verbal communication skills.&#xa0; Good knowledge of the principles and practices of administration, office management and personnel management is important.&#xa0; Office tasks include timesheet distribution, mailings, meeting and event preparation (parking, room reservation, copies, work orders, meeting clean up, outlook calendar reminder, name tag printing, etc.), mail receiving, sorting, and distribution and departmental clerical assistance.  Supports the work of the Vice President, External Affairs/Executive Director WCC Foundation and Executive Administrator, and other staff as needed, including email correspondence, calendar management, and meeting scheduling and coordination; 
 Handles logistics of Board, Committee, leadership, and staff meetings; 
 Manages front office duties including phones, ordering office supplies, overseeing facility needs and placing work orders, daily mail distribution, and check log; 
 Provides assistance to other members of the department staff as needed; 
 General administrative tasks, filing, and other duties and projects as assigned. 
 
 &#xa0; REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:&#xa0; &#xa0;The successful candidate must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of experience where the primary function of the position was in a staff or administrative support capacity, or where the primary function of the position was supervision of clerical positions. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications is necessary.
