 As Head Golf Course Mechanic, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of all golf course equipment. 
 You will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and agronomy team to ensure that all equipment operates at the highest level, supporting consistency, efficiency, and the overall quality of the golf experience. Your role will be both technical and leadership-oriented, setting standards and creating systems that ensure long-term success.

 Key Responsibilities 
 Equipment Maintenance &#38; Repair 
 
 Oversee the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, and small engines 
 Perform and manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity 
 Lead reel grinding, sharpening, and adjustment of cutting units to maintain precision turf quality 
 Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts inventory 
 
 Operational Leadership 
 
 Ensure all equipment is prepared, safe, and available for daily use by the agronomy team 
 Establish shop organization, workflows, and operational standards 
 Assist in evaluating equipment needs, lifecycle planning, and replacement schedules 
 Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient maintenance facility 
 
 Standards &#38; Safety 
 
 Uphold safety standards and proper operating procedures across all equipment 
 Ensure all equipment meets operational and safety expectations 
 Support training of staff on proper equipment use and care 
 Contribute to a culture of accountability, consistency, and attention to detail

 Experience &#38; Qualifications 
 
 5+ years of experience in golf course equipment maintenance or small engine repair 
 Demonstrated ability to lead or manage an equipment operation 
 Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems 
 Experience with reel grinding and cutting unit setup required 
 Welding and fabrication experience preferred

 The Opportunity 
 As Head Golf Professional, you will lead the day-to-day golf operation while helping define the standards, culture, and member experience during one of the most important moments in the club&#8217;s history.

 Key Responsibilities 
 Golf Operations &#38; Experience 
 
 Lead all aspects of the daily golf operation, including golf shop, practice facilities, and outside services 
 Establish service standards that reflect a refined yet approachable private club environment 
 Ensure a seamless and consistent member experience across all touchpoints 
 Maintain a visible and engaged presence within the golf operation 
 
 Programming &#38; Member Engagement 
 
 Develop and execute a thoughtful calendar of tournaments and member events 
 Create inclusive, well-paced programming for members of all skill levels 
 Lead member trips, events, and golf experiences that deepen connection to the club 
 Provide instruction and club fitting in a manner that is personalized and relationship-driven 
 
 Club Development &#38; Opening 
 
 Assist in operational planning leading into the club&#8217;s reopening 
 Contribute to the setup and functionality of the golf shop and practice facilities 
 Support the implementation of golf systems and technology 
 Help establish traditions, rituals, and the overall rhythm of the golf experience 
 
 Merchandising &#38; Retail 
 
 Curate a golf shop offering that reflects the club&#8217;s aesthetic and coastal identity 
 Oversee merchandising, inventory, and vendor relationships

 Team Leadership 
 
 Develop, and mentor a high-performing team of golf professionals and staff

 Manage daily operations, billing, and reporting processes 
 Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
