This role will work closely with our Oncology Veterinarian and multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver thoughtful, high-quality cancer care to patients and compassionate guidance to clients. This position is well suited for a technician who combines strong clinical skills with emotional intelligence, precision, and a passion for specialty medicine. Your work will be central to: Diagnostic and treatment support Chemotherapy preparation and administration Patient monitoring and safety compliance Client education and communication Who We’re Looking For This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy specialty medicine and value structure, communication, and teamwork, including: Experienced RVTs with oncology or specialty hospital experience Technicians looking to advance into oncology-focused medicine VTS (Oncology) professionals seeking a supportive, well-organized specialty environment Qualifications Veterinary technician experience in oncology or specialty practice required RVT licensure preferred (VTS in Oncology highly preferred) Strong IV catheter placement, lab skills, and patient monitoring abilities Excellent verbal and written communication High attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols Emotional maturity and professionalism in sensitive clinical situations Interest in continuing education and long-term oncology skill development   Compensation $70,000 – $94,000 annually, commensurate with experience, licensure, and credentials  Interested in learning more? We want to maintain our current level standard of care and need someone to help us do that. We basically offer the same things as everyone else but we do have a nice, small town charm located in Waupaca County, WI near the Chain of Lakes. We have also been voted best Vet in the area for multiple years in a row. We are looking for someone who will be full-time but may start part-time if that better suits you. Our clinic features dentistry, laser therapy, digital x-rays, in-house diagnostics, a full pharmacy as well as boarding. There is no on call duties. We are only open for half the day on Saturdays and Vets only work every 3rd Saturday. Our compensation package includes an IRA account with 3% match, paid vet dues, paid CE, paid vacation time and health insurance. There will also be opportunity for ownership in the future.
