								<description>Cincinnati, Ohio,  The Head Coach for Men&#8217;s and Women&#8217;s Tennis is responsible for building, developing, and leading competitive NCAA Division I tennis programs that represent the university with excellence in the classroom, in competition, and in the community. This role oversees the recruitment and selection of student?athletes who demonstrate strong academic potential, personal character, and the athletic ability to contribute to both programs&#8217; long term success.

The coach provides comprehensive support for student?athlete growth by monitoring academic progress, fostering personal development, and designing training environments that promote physical and athletic advancement. This includes creating structured practice plans, implementing performance?enhancement strategies, and preparing teams for high level competition throughout the year.

To elevate the overall student athlete experience, the Head Coach also leads and participates in fundraising initiatives that strengthen program resources and expand opportunities for team development. The position requires a commitment to integrity, compliance with all NCAA and conference regulations, and the cultivation of a positive, inclusive team culture.


JOB REQUIREMENTS: 


Bachelor&#8217;s Degree Required

3 &#8211; 5 years of experience

								<description>Cincinnati, Ohio,  Xavier Athletics seeks applications for a full time Operations Specialist who can independently, and collaboratively, perform labor intensive set-ups, re-sets and conversions for all arena events, athletic spaces, banquet room functions, and conference center use. Promptly respond to all event related, custodial and maintenance issues independently and cooperatively with multiple University departments, including Athletics, Physical Plant and Campus Police. Serve as a positive and welcoming representative of the Athletic Department and Xavier University to all visitors, customers and Xavier stakeholders. This is a full-time, event driven position which frequently requires front-line customer problem resolution; therefore, work hours are highly variable, and will require nights, weekends, shift rotations, mandatory overtime and a willingness to successfully resolve a wide array of unanticipated issues.



Job Responsibilities:


According to given specifications, perform and complete all event set-ups, conversions, furniture moves, and normalized building re-sets.

Respond to and resolve all operations-related requests from internal stakeholders including all athletic teams and athletic department members.

Respond to and resolve all operations related requests from external stakeholders, including catering, concessions, and cleaning contractor
Identify and perform cleaning duties, as needed.

Respond to and assist with any and all facility maintenance issues that arise. Evaluate and involve Physical Plant, Technical Services and/or cleaning contractor to resolve efficiently.

Receive, store and distribute all event-related deliveries of customer and stakeholder materials.

Perform snow removal and seasonal support functions as needed.

Keep records of work performed, time and material used and report same on proper documents.

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow all established safety practices and procedures.


Job Requirments:

High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School certification required.

Demonstrates maintenance and or custodial skills.

Valid Driver&#39;s Liscence and proof of insurability by Xavier&#39;s insurance carrier.

Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders, and read/work from diagrams.

								<description>Cincinnati, Ohio,  Xavier University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Women&#39;s Lacrosse Coach to join the women&#8217;s lacrosse program. The ideal candidate is a proactive, experienced coach who anticipates challenges before they arise and holds themselves to a high standard in every aspect of the role.



Job Duties:

1. Assist head coach in all phases of a competitive Division I lacrosse program, including on-field coaching, practice planning, and game-day execution.

2. Lead player development initiatives across all positions, with an emphasis on individual skill growth, positional understanding, and competitive readiness.

3. Own the opponent scouting process with experience breaking down film, preparing detailed scouting reports, and translating findings into actionable game plans for the coaching staff and players.

4. Manage the team&#39;s film exchange program, coordinate film sessions, and maintain organized, up-to-date video records throughout the season.

5. Take an active role in recruiting through identifying, evaluating, and building
relationships with high-quality prospective student-athletes who fit the program&#39;s academic and athletic standards.

6. Oversee day-to-day program operations as assigned, including equipment, travel logistics, compliance logs, and communication with university staff.

7. Maintain full compliance with all NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.



Qualifications:

&#8226; Bachelor&#39;s degree required; Master&#39;s degree preferred.

&#8226; Minimum of two years of collegiate women&#39;s lacrosse coaching experience, or equivalent collegiate playing experience; Division I experience strongly preferred.

&#8226; Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

&#8226; Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and adjust seamlessly to changing daily demands without losing focus or attention to detail.

&#8226; Proficiency with video platforms (Hudl, ScoreBreak, or similar), Teamworks and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace

&#8226; Strong understanding of NCAA rules and the ability to proactively ensure compliance across all operational areas; familiarity with Big East Conference policies and procedures strongly preferred
