Clinical Lab Scientist I - FT/Evenings SUMMARY: The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) I position is accountable for performing laboratory procedures using a variety of instruments and procedures. Performs laboratory analyses on blood and various body fluids to obtain data on which a diagnosis of health or disease can be made and appropriate therapy initiated. Areas of responsibility may include one or more of the following: hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, molecular biology, histopathology, and point of care testing (POCT). Employees scheduled to work in the Blood Bank department must undergo an extensive trustworthy and reliability determination which includes fingerprinting and a criminal
