 Summary &#xa0; 
 The Longmont Symphony Orchestra has experienced a period of significant growth in performance attendance and financial success. The Orchestra&#8217;s Board of Directors seeks a proven executive to lead and manage a strong regional orchestra in a vibrant, growing Front Range Colorado city and surrounding community that has significant growth and interest potential.&#xa0;&#xa0; 
 The Organization &#xa0; 
 The LSO presents approximately 16 performances per year (6 Mainstage concerts at Vance Brand   Civic Auditorium; 1 free July 4th concert; chamber music concerts; a Holiday performance; two full  p erformances of The Nutcracker with the Boulder Ballet, plus a shortened Gentle Nutcracker for   individuals with special needs and their families; and a pair of concerts for all St. Vrain Valley   School District 5th graders), and has an active education and outreach program, with an annual  b udget of approximately $700,000. &#xa0; 
 This upcoming season will be the LSO&#8217;s 60th Anniversary season, a unique opportunity to celebrate the long history of the organization while establishing an exciting vision for the future.&#xa0; 
 The Position &#xa0; 
 The Executive Director serves as the organization&#8217;s Chief Executive Officer. The position requires managing all human and financial resources to ensure the Symphony successfully achieves its mission, vision, and goals by developing effective fundraising and marketing strategies, ensuring sustained financial growth, artistic vibrancy, education outreach, and community engagement. The Executive Director, along with the Music Director, report to the Board of Directors.&#xa0; 
 Roles &#38; Responsibilities &#xa0; 
 The Executive Director will be responsible for:&#xa0; 
 
   Executing the mission, vision, policies, and goals established by the Board of Directors.  
 Supervising and supporting all administrative staff.&#xa0; 
   Collaborating with and supporting the Music Director to achieve artistically and financially successful performances.&#xa0; 
   Developing and implementing a multi-year strategic organizational plan in collaboration with the Music Director and Board of Directors.&#xa0; 
   Managing all aspects of the organization&#8217;s operations, including ticket sales, programming, budgeting, invoicing, venue contracts, and human resources. Responsible for negotiating and overseeing all guest artist contracts, travel, accommodations, and logistics.&#xa0; 
   Assuring adequate financial resources to successfully achieve the orchestra&#8217;s priorities.  
 Taking a leadership role with the Philanthropy Committee in creating, implementing, and evaluating fundraising strategies.&#xa0; 
   Researching, writing, and submitting all grant applications and reports.&#xa0; 
   Cultivating a dedicated donor base to meet short and long-term financial goals.  
 Engaging and nurturing patrons and season ticket holders, the LSO Guild, and volunteers.  
 Cultivating community relationships including local school districts and music educators to enhance youth involvement in orchestral music.&#xa0; 
   Working with the Board of Directors to set up and attend committee meetings as requested. 
 
 Qualifications &#xa0; 
 
   BA/MA in Arts Administration or closely related field.&#xa0; 
   At least three years of senior management experience in a non-profit organization.  
 Working knowledge of orchestral music operations preferred, but not critical.  
 Demonstrated success in building and nurturing positive relationships with patrons and donors.  
 Experience in designing and leading non-profit development strategies and fundraising campaigns.&#xa0; 
   Passion for building and nurturing symphonic music throughout the greater Longmont community.&#xa0; 
   Solid financial management experience and budgeting skills.&#xa0; 
   Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and creativity.&#xa0; 
   Experience with Quickbooks, Constant Contact, Canva, Google Suite.&#xa0; 
   The ideal candidate will reside within 20 miles of downtown Longmont.&#xa0;

 Compensation &#xa0; 
 Salary range is $70,000-$80,000 depending upon qualifications and experience. Full Time. Includes annual paid vacation and employer-matched retirement plan. Out-of-state relocation expenses negotiable.&#xa0;

								<description>WASHINGTON, D.C.,  The DC Concert Orchestra Society (DCCOS) seeks an Executive Director for the 26-27 season (starting on or after July 1).&#xa0; Initial position is part-time (25 to 30 hours per week) with potential for progression into a full-time permanent position, based on results and organizational growth.&#xa0; DCCOS is a young, dynamic, thriving community music organization with an active performance schedule presenting both auditioned 80-piece orchestra concerts with quality rivaling the best in the metropolitan area and chamber music concerts.&#xa0; DCCOS also presents multiple Outreach concerts and produces events to create community for non-performing amateur classical musicians.&#xa0; DCCOS prioritizes DEI in all aspects of operations: board, musicians, repertoire and audiences.&#xa0;

 While not required, a car is highly recommended.
