 Initial Priorities of Position:&#xa0; 
 
 Execute assigned tasks under direction of Senior Turf Managers&#xa0;

 Develop technical turf knowledge across services offered&#xa0; 
 Begin progress toward Pesticide License&#xa0;

 Perform all assigned turf maintenance, applications, cultivation, irrigation, and field work at a high level&#xa0;

 Daily Reporting &#38; Communication&#xa0; 
 
 Complete accurate daily job reports&#xa0; 
 Participate in daily check-ins with Senior Turf Managers&#xa0; 
 Communicate site conditions, issues, and inventory needs proactively&#xa0; 
 
 Operational Responsibilities&#xa0; 
 
 Assist with:&#xa0;
 
 Turf applications&#xa0; 
 Cultural practices&#xa0; 
 Irrigation repair and maintenance&#xa0; 
 Sod installation and repair&#xa0; 
 General field maintenance&#xa0; 
 
 
 Maintain cleanliness of trucks and equipment&#xa0; 
 Report equipment issues promptly 
 
 Safety &#38; Professionalism&#xa0; 
 
 Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements&#xa0; 
 Operate equipment safely and responsibly&#xa0; 
 Represent the company professionally on all job sites&#xa0; 
 
 Preferred Qualifications:&#xa0; 
 
 No minimum experience required (training provided)&#xa0; 
 Background in turf, landscaping, agriculture, or related field preferred&#xa0; 
 Valid driver&#8217;s license required&#xa0;

This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring daily operations run smoothly by keeping equipment serviced, safe, and performing at the highest level. 
 We&#8217;re looking for someone who has a positive attitude, works well with others, and can seamlessly integrate into a well-established maintenance operation.  Club &#38; Operation Highlights: 
 
 
 Annual Rounds: ~15,000 (including 12 outings annually) 
 
 
 Maintenance Staff: 10 full-time; 22 total in season 
 
 
 Turf Types: Bent/Poa (predominantly Bentgrass) 
 
 
 Equipment: John Deere (Capital Lease) 
 
 
 Typical Work Schedule: 
 In Season (April&#8211;November): 
 
 
 Monday&#8211;Friday, 6:00am&#8211;2:30pm 
 
 
 Saturdays as needed to check mowers

 Grind and sharpen cutting units; maintain quality-of-cut standards 
 
 
 Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records 
 
 
 Order parts, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors 
 
 
 Train staff on proper equipment operation and safety procedures 
 
 
 Assist the management team with budgeting for equipment parts and repairs 
 
 
 Keep the maintenance facility clean, organized, and safe 
 
 
 Fuel and secure equipment daily 
 
 
 Collaborate with Superintendent and Assistants to support daily operations 
 
 
 Participate in snow plowing and winter equipment preparation 
 
 
 Qualifications: 
 Experience: 
 
 
 3+ years of equipment repair/maintenance experience 
 
 
 Experience with golf course equipment preferred 
 
 
 Education: 
 
 
 High School diploma required 
 
 
 Associate degree preferred, but not required 
 
 
 Other Requirements: 
 
 
 Strong mechanical aptitude 
 
 
 Ability to diagnose and repair small engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines 
 
 
 Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical labor as needed 
 
 
 Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship 
 
 
 Valid Driver&#8217;s License
