Our graduates can expect to be prepared for positions such as, pharmacists specializing in infectious disease pharmacotherapy or antimicrobial stewardship program management, faculty members at a college/school of pharmacy, research fellows, medical science liaisons, or pharmacy clinical coordinators. Our PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency consists of 11 rotation training blocks concentrating on many aspects of infectious disease pharmacy practice. Your training focuses on developing the ability to deal with a range of diseases and syndromes that occur in the infected patient—with special emphasis on the complexities of developing and managing a sustainable health-system antimicrobial stewardship program. Additionally, the program introduces the intricacies of maintaining a faculty practice site and didactic pharmacy student education. And, it's flexibility means the program can be customized to accommodate your knowledge, skills, attitudes, abilities, interests, and career goals.
