Are you an accounting or finance student looking to gain practical experience? Join us at AECI for an enriching internship opportunity at our Headquarters location in Springfield, MO. This year-round internship begins Summer 2026 and continues into 2027, offering a chance to work on our Accounts Payable team, with potential course credit available. For more details on earning course credit, please contact your school’s career center.

Qualified applicants must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.  You must also be enrolled in school at the time of the internship.

As an intern in the Accounts Payable department, tasks may include:

  • Organizing and processing incoming invoices, statements and payment requests.

  • Handle vendor change, tax and W8/W9 forms and requests

  • Support audit paperwork preparation

  • Monthly journal entry preparation

  • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
