| Rush Island Management, LP seeks a Senior Research Analyst in New York, NY to conduct research on potential investment opportunities, including a wide range of diligence on business, accounting, capital structure, valuation, tax, and legal aspects of such opportunities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience generating and researching investments across sectors, including Telecommunications, Technology REITs, Information Services, Business Services, Communication Infrastructure, and hospitality; developing detailed financial models utilizing income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, revenue builds, debt and interest schedules, capital expenditure and depreciation schedules, and customer cohort analyses; describing and monitoring potential investee target companies’ present and anticipated future financial performance, including operating results, growth prospects, and ability to meet ongoing financial obligations; performing due diligence on investments through analysis of earnings and free cash flow, unit economics, customer acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, and industry sizing of companies’ filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; developing detailed research reports, investment memorandums, and supporting documents for investor letters; in executing duties, utilizing industry platforms and software including Bloomberg and Excel and engaging with third-party vendors for surveys, expert networks, alternative data, and specialized research.
