This position will primarily oversee Blood Bank, Urinalysis and Coagulation departments. CCRMC is a full-service county hospital and offers a complete array of patient-centered healthcare services delivered in a beautiful facility. Minimum Qualifications: License Required: Candidates must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment a valid and unrestricted Clinical Laboratory Scientist license issued by the California Department of Public Health. Experience: Three (3) years of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience as a licensed senior scientist in a clinical laboratory performing varied clinical tests and analyses. Other Requirements: A background investigation/fingerprint and/or physical exam may be required prior to the start of employment. Training and Experience Evaluation: Candidates who clearly demonstrate that they possess the minimum qualifications will have their training and experience evaluated. The responses to the supplemental questions, at the time of filing, will be evaluated to determine each candidate's relevant education, training, and/or experience as presented on the application and supplemental questionnaire. DISASTER SERVICE WORKER All Contra Costa County employees are designated Disaster Service Workers through state and local law. Employees are required to complete all Disaster Service Worker-related training as assigned, and to return to work as ordered in the event of an emergency.
