| EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, FINANCE & BUSINESS OPERATIONS (Associate Administrator) POSITION DETAILS Kingsborough Community College of the City University of New York, located on the Manhattan Beach waterfront in Brooklyn, New York, seeks an experiencedExecutive Director of Finance and Business Operations. This position oversees and is responsible for the efficient management of all facets of the Business Office, including accounting and purchasing, bursar, fixed assets, and operational services. The Executive Director reports to the Vice President for Finance and Administration and is a critical partner in the strategic management and development of Kingsborough?s resources. The incumbent will lead a talented and experienced team of 9 direct reports (College Controller, Accounts Payables Manager, Purchasing Director, Bursar, Property Manager, Central Receiving, Mailroom, and Print Shop), and oversee a department of 33 business and finance staff. The Executive Director develops and implements fiscal procedures, protocols and controls, and works closely with CUNY's Controller's office, and the Research Foundation. They will also partner closely with internal stakeholders including the Offices of Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, Academic and Student Affairs, Advancement, and operations offices in the Division of Administration and Finance. The successful candidate will be a strong, collaborative leader with excellent communication skills. The Executive Director must be a competent decision maker who is able to efficiently analyze information and assess issues to serve the needs of the academic and non-academic areas. QUALIFICATIONS This position is in CUNY's Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience. Preferred Qualifications
