| Maret School seeks to fill various coaching openings for the 2026–27 school year. Specific details for each opening are listed beneath the application instructions. Upper School Coaching Practice and game schedules vary by sport but generally occur Monday–Friday between 3:30 and 5:45 p.m., with occasional Saturday commitments. Coaches are expected to arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to practices, games, and team departures to support preparation. The successful candidate will embrace Maret’s mission and values by creating a safe, supportive, and challenging environment where student-athletes can develop skills, confidence, character, and a lifelong appreciation for sport. Coaching Salary Ranges: $2,300 - $8,500 Compensation is determined based on the specific responsibilities, experience, and scope of each coaching position. Each application is reviewed individually to ensure the salary offered appropriately reflects the role, including factors such as varsity or junior varsity responsibilities, program leadership expectations, and season commitments. This range includes both head and assistant coaching positions across varsity and junior varsity programs. Middle School Coaching Responsibilities
Maret seeks experienced and dedicated coaches to lead various Middle School athletic programs during the fall, winter and spring seasons. Candidates with youth, high school, collegiate, or club-level coaching experience are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of their sport, the ability to build meaningful relationships with student-athletes, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and education-based athletic experience. Practice times vary by program but generally occur Monday–Thursday between 1:30 and 3:45 p.m. Games are scheduled outside of regular practice times and typically take place Monday–Thursday beginning at 2:45 p.m., with competitions generally lasting approximately one hour. Additional time should be anticipated for away competitions to account for travel to and from campus. Coaches are expected to arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to practices, games, and team departures to support preparation. Middle School and Upper School Coaching Responsibilities
Coaching Salary Ranges: $1,700 - $2,500 Compensation is determined based on the specific roles and responsibilities associated with each sport and season. Each application is reviewed individually to ensure the salary offered aligns appropriately with the scope of the position. The range above reflects both head and assistant coaching roles, as well as different levels.
