Social Media Specialist

The Texas Optometric Association is seeking a social media specialist with in-depth knowledge of social media marketing and management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing innovative digital marketing campaigns that drive member engagement, increase membership to the organization, and contribute to our overall digital marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and emerging social channels
• Provide actionable insights to improve social media efforts and stay current with the industry to keep social media content relevant
• Utilize social media marketing tools, monitoring tools, and analytics tools to refine strategies and track key performance indicators
• Present social media initiatives and results to the Executive Director and Board of Trustees, adapting strategies based on feedback and analysis
